Government Communicators: Take your Place at the Culture Table

Session Overview

In this presentation, Helena Cain, Renee Dockrill, Carla Ewin and Mary Souter from Artemis Partners look at how workplace cultures have changed during the pandemic and the role that government communicators have had in this change. The team of communication strategists and consultants discuss how the pandemic has resulted in more people working from home and therefore relying on internal communications to help shape workplace culture.

However, as the COVID-19 pandemic eases in Australia and workplaces start to revert back to previous behaviours, it is vital that government communicators continue the strides they made during the pandemic in order to maintain a positive and productive workplace culture.

After watching this video, you will:

  • Learn how to be the authority on your workplace culture.
  • Understand the importance of connecting your leaders in the workplace with other staff and the public.
  • Know why it is vital that government communicators take their seat at the culture table.
