Session Overview:
Janine Griffiths is a Managing Director at Accenture and Accenture’s Client Lead working with the Queensland Government.
Janine explains how government can become a ‘digital first’ organisation by looking at three core themes: technology transformation, external customer experience and internal workforce culture.
Janine calls for a digitally elastic workplace that supports multiple ways of working. This means creating a workplace that uses technology to become quick to adapt to change.
Part of being a digital first government is encouraging citizen participation in digitalisation. Janine suggests the government should support communities to develop a digital first instinct, which can be used as a platform for more rapid digital service delivery.
After watching this video, you will be able to:
- Understand the benefit of digitalisation in government, as well as the state of digitalisation today.
- Recognise the importance of creating a digital mindset within our communities, and how it will assist government in the rollout of digital services.
- Understand the role that leadership and workplace culture will play in the adoption of digital processes in government.
