Making it Happen in the Region – NSW Department of Premier and Cabinet

Since March 2011 the NSW Government has embarked on its mission to rebuild the state. They have created almost 110,000 new jobs, significantly reduced unemployment and invested $60 billion towards improving infrastructure and front line services. Building on this success, Premier Mike Baird is delivering several projects across to further strengthen infrastructure, generate economic opportunity and promote social cohesion — Making it happen is one of these programs. Despite considerable work being completed, many across the State are still unaware of the activity that is occurring. contentgroup was engaged by The Department of Premier and Cabinet engaged to edit and re-write a range of written materials for each of the State’s eight regions.

CSIRO, Ginninderra Project

In 2011 CSIRO stated its intention to consolidate its property holdings across Australia to align them with its organisational priorities and science objectives. Its 701ha Ginninderra Research Field Station was classified as an underutilised site and work was underway to explore the future possibilities for the site, including urban development. Significant environmental, heritage and scoping studies were then undertaken to better understand what was possible at the site. As these studies progressed, contentgroup was engaged by CSIRO in July 2015 to provide strategic communications advice.

There are 48,800 farms in New South Wales. Each of these farms presents a high opportunity of an accident leading to either fatality or serious injury.

There is an acute need for New South Wales farmers and their families to improve their safety on their farms.

Alive and Well is the SafeWork NSW farm safety campaign, and was developed to inform farmers and their families about the risks and dangers of living and working on the farm.
