We are hiring a graphic designer
We are seeking a talented Graphic Designer to join our team on a contract to cover a maternity leave position. The successful candidate will play a key role in creating visually compelling content that aligns with our clients’ communication goals. This position requires a creative individual who can balance artistic flair with practical design solutions.
Experience:
- Strong InDesign skills, with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in graphic design, preferably within the government or public sector.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and best practices for inclusive design.
- Strong project management experience, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and produce graphic content for a range of platforms, including social media, blogs, and reports.
- Collaborate with the production and consulting team to ensure visual elements enhance and support written and video content.
- Maintain brand consistency across all design projects.
- Ensure all designs meet accessibility standards, creating inclusive and compliant visual content.
- Stay updated with industry standards and trends to incorporate innovative design techniques.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work.
- Apply strong project management skills to coordinate design tasks, prioritise workloads, and meet deadlines.
