Introduction to Social Media (Facebook and Twitter)

The contentgroup Introduction to Social Media course covers the basics from best practices on Facebook and Twitter; understanding the elements of a robust social media strategy, building an audience, engaging with the audience, sharing content, paid advertising, risks and strategy.

We also touch on the basics of Facebook analytics and Google analytics so that you can measure and evaluate your efforts.

We can assist you with building the skills and knowledge to publish content including blogs, podcasts, photos and video.  We believe that social media is at its most effective when it is run from within an organisation. Our aim is to embed social media capability into our clients’ organisations.

You will receive six hours of social media training and access to ongoing support.

There are six places available for this course and no technical or prior knowledge is required to attend.  Attendees can be provided with a laptop.

Networking Effectively with Social Media (Twitter and LinkedIn)

Social media is a valuable tool to establish and maintain networks online.

This course looks at optimising your use of Twitter and LinkedIn to make the most of the growing platforms.  We look at the best practices and assist you with building your skills.

Social media is at its most effective when you use your own voice, so make sure you join the conversation.

This is a shorter course run over three hours.  There are six places available for this course and prior knowledge of Twitter and/or LinkedIn is recommended to attend.  Attendees can be provided with a laptop.
