Between 2007-2012 Australia will contribute $25million to the Australia-China Environment Development Program (ACEDP). GHD, the organisation contracted by AusAID to deliver the ACEDP in China, engaged contentgroup to develop a Communications and Engagement Strategy to promote Australia’s initiatives to improve environmental governance in China and to enhance the environment policy dialogue between China and Australia.
contentgroup developed a program of activities for the program partners to facilitate communication between a network of interested parties and publicise the achievements of the program. Bringing this program together required thorough research of the needs and expectations of the Chinese partners, the practices and requirements of the Chinese media, the most appropriate messages to win the interest of a Chinese audience and the audiences considered most appropriate to receive the messages.
